Product Covers!

Product Covers. Love 'em, hate 'em - either way you've got to have them if you're going to sell on Teachers Pay Teachers. Gone are the days of just posting the fact that you have a product to share. Now, it has to be neatly packaged so that it can grab the attention of potential customers over all the other options out there. And there are A LOT of options.

Teachers spend so much time creating great products and put zero effort toward their packaging, assuming it's not important. 

Unfortunately, this costs them a lot of sales. Shoppers don't have time to do the deep dive and discover that what you're offering is phenomenal. Just like most things in this world, we tend to judge the book by it's cover.

I know there are people out there who can see the advantages of having attention grabbing packaging, but simply don't have the time to put into creating them.

That's where I come in - I love to do this kind of thing. It's my hobby. It's essentially scrap-booking digitally (you know, without adding pictures or memories). I get to take digital papers (think walking down the scrap-book paper aisle at Michael's) and mix those with pieces of clip art (embellishments) to create a beautiful presentation.

It's too fun! (Hubby just rolled his eyes because he knows how much I spend on clip-art). I guess if I have to have a vice, clip art and digital papers aren't that bad.

Anyway - I made these covers and I LOVE

them. The cool fence backgrounds with the adorable clip art kiddos - they're just too cute. I really appreciate the artistic talent these clip artists have - they're so creative.

What I really love about these, is that in the products themselves, I didn't use any of my fancy fonts because I knew buyers wouldn't have them on their computers and I didn't want them to have to buy anything else. So just using the regular, standard fonts I was able to show how wonderful covers can look!

PowerPoint really is versatile and once you learn how to navigate the program, you can do quite a bit.  

I hope buyers take a look and that they love them as much as I do!
